Who we are
The Center for New Ideas has served as an independent think tank in Belarus for 10 years. We are a devoted team of individuals that hope to create and inform new policies for the path of a new Belarus while also helping Belarus overcome the challenges that our country faces in the 21st century. In August 2021, the Minsk City Executive Committee liquidated the "Center of New Political, Economic and Social Ideas". Since 2022, the Center for New Ideas has been registered as a non-governmental organization in Poland: Stowarzyszenie "Centrum Nowych Idei".
Dozens of active individuals have been part of the Center for New Ideas, and we are always glad to welcome new members to our team.
The Center for New Ideas is one of the most popular non-governmental organisations that work for prosperous Belarus. Currently, we have 35,000 followers around the world and this number continues to grow.
We organized major events in Minsk and in the regions until 2020. However, after the liquidation of the organization, we work with Belarusians online and offline in Warsaw and Vilnius.
How to support CNI
The Center for New Ideas isn’t involved in any commercial activity, therefore we rely on two resources: the enthusiasm of our team and your financial aid. You can support our organization and make a voluntary donation to our Patreon page.

Our mission
It is important for us that ideas for making Belarus more open, prosperous and resilient are able to take flight, reaching decision-makers and becoming the most influential in society. If the best policy proposals reach the widest possible audience, they are more likely to be implemented.
We go about this by engaging with society to discuss reforms and supporting independent research and future leaders.
We aim to involve the general public in expert policy discussion on Belarus’s development. We make it through our events, online sites and cooperation with the biggest Belarusian media outlets.
Our evidence-based studies are a source of expertise not only for traditional think tank audiences, but also for a broad spectrum of Belarusian society. Our analytical products include the Ranking of Belarusian Cities and the Index of Belarusian Future.
We value Belarus's future leaders and are able to help them along their path to success. We are able to help with educational programs such as the School of Young Reformers, the Belarus Urban Fellowship and the Vitali Silitski Fellowship. Moreso, we also attract new leaders, both as guests and as speakers to our events and empower them to publish their work on the CNI website.
